The education provider was struggling with a one-size-fits-all content delivery model that failed to account for the vast differences in student ability levels within a single classroom. What We Built

Our Solution

We built LearnPath AI on a reinforcement learning framework where the agent continuously optimizes the learning path for each individual student. The system models student knowledge as a dynamic Bayesian knowledge graph, tracking mastery across thousands of granular learning objectives and their prerequisite relationships.

The content recommendation engine uses a multi-armed bandit approach to balance exploration of new content types with exploitation of instructional strategies known to be effective for each student's profile. The system adapts not only what content to present but how to present it, selecting from video explanations, interactive simulations, worked examples, peer discussion prompts, and practice problem sets based on engagement and performance signals.

We developed a real-time analytics dashboard for educators that surfaces actionable insights rather than raw data. Teachers receive automated alerts when students are struggling, along with specific intervention recommendations. District administrators can track cohort-level trends, identify curriculum gaps, and measure the impact of instructional changes across schools.

The integration layer supports LTI 1.3 and xAPI, enabling plug-and-play deployment across all major LMS platforms. All student data is encrypted at rest and in transit, stored in FERPA-compliant infrastructure with role-based access controls. The platform was designed for horizontal scalability, handling concurrent usage spikes during peak school hours without performance degradation.
